Benjamin Kalu takes over as House of Reps Deputy Speaker

 

Benjamin Kalu was on Tuesday elected unopposed as Deputy Speaker, in the 10th House.

Kalu, who is a member-elect for Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State, was nominated by the member-elect for Ikorodu Federal Constituency of Lagos State.

The new Deputy Speaker is the All Progressives Congress (APC) preferred candidate for the position.
