When people lean on their understanding instead of God’s directions, they always end up disappointed, lost, and discouraged. Seeking the face of God is necessary for every man’s sojourn in life.
Unfortunately, important personalities and powerful individuals believe so much in their wealth and knowledge, neglect God, yet expect to have victories in their quest for power, forgetting the fact that it is only God who can guarantee one’s success.
The last presidential election in Nigeria that gave APC’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu a controversial victory is a testament that politicians especially don’t reference God in their plans.
They rely on their understanding, connections, strategies, and gimmicks. Despite the several warnings Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church gave both of them, they ignored and did the opposite.
Primate Ayodele was all over the internet advising the opposition to form a coalition against the APC’s candidate because God isn’t in support of a Muslim-Muslim ticket. He mentioned in several videos that the APC candidate was ready to do anything possible to snatch victory, but the opposition can stop him if they form a coalition or proceed on reconciliation moves.
He even went as far as mentioning that PDP’s Abubakar Atiku was God’s choice for the country, but he needs to carry out some assignment if he wants to win, but the PDP candidate never listened and at the end of it all, the candidate of the APC won the election.
After the election, Primate Ayodele has said several things regarding the election tribunal and issues of candidacy taken to court. One of the cases he mentioned recently was the double nomination case against the vice president-elect, Kashim Shettima.
A few days ago, the prophet noted that the case will be manoeuvred at the Supreme Court unless a miracle happens. He stated that the opposition parties have got it wrong before the election period despite his warnings to them.
These were his words:
‘’On the Shettima matter, Atiku and Peter Obi are not taking it seriously by seeking God’s intervention. The case can be manoeuvred, we give warnings to these people that they don’t listen, and they feel we belong to a party. They have a case but seeking the face of God is ultimate.
"I warned them about how Tinubu was ready for all ramifications. The opposition are not ready for this matter and this Friday’s case can be manoeuvred. It is only God that can turn the case around, not all this noise. They will shout, and protest but will not get any result’’.
Just as the prophet warned, the Supreme Court sat today concerning the double nomination allegation levied against Kashim Shettima, and the case was disgracefully dismissed.
