The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu won Saturday's presidential election in Kwara State.
This development was made public by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, at the state coalition centre on Monday.
According to the Commission, Tinubu polled 263,572 votes while his closest challenger, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, polled 136,909 votes.
For Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, came a distant third with 31,166 votes.
