A former Communications Minister in Nigeria, Engineer Olawale Adeniji Ige is dead.
He died at the age of 83 on May 9, 2022, according to the family.
In a statement issued by the deceased daughter, Mrs Atinuke Olashore, Ige was the former Director-General, Ministry of Communications before he became a Minister of Communication in 1990 and was reappointed a Minister to coordinate the Ministry of Transport, Aviation, and Communications in 1992.
