The Ansarudeen College, Isolo Old School Association 1993 Set (ADCIOSA ’93) has inaugurated its second elected executive council and six committees to oversee the affairs of the association in Lagos.
The President of the Association, Shamsideen Kadri, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Lagos.
Kadri said that the official inauguration of the second elected executive body of the ADCIOSA 93’ set marked the beginning of another outstanding impact in the school.
According to him, in recent times, the Association has witnessed a significant increase in the concern for members in building a great AUDCISO 93’ set.
Kadri said that the body was expanding the Association and bringing development to the school with the resources at its disposal.
Kadri said: “We still have a long way to go, and only through a joint effort will we be able to reach our fundamental goal.
“We want all active members to take on the role for the future of the Association.
“Our most sincere wish is that in two years, our discussions and agreements will positively contribute to the consolidation of the aims of the Association and the philosophy underlying it.”
He used the occasion to pay tribute to the families of bereaved members.
Kadri commended all the active members of the forum, members in the diaspora and homes for hosting the inauguration and devoting time to ensure its success.
He also commended the association’s electoral committee and all members of the ADCIOSA 93’ set for their continued support.
Kadri, who announced the formation of working committees said that the Association’s meeting would hold quarterly annually.
He urged all members to be part of one or more committees to oversee the affairs of the association.
According to him, the committees are Constitution Committee, Welfare Committee, Advisory Committee, Finance Committee, Publicity/Social Committee and Diaspora Committee.
