Richard Arnold has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Manchester United.
His appointment takes effect from February 1, 2022, to replace Vice-Chairman Ed Woodward as the soccer club’s boss.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by the club, “Manchester United has announced that Richard Arnold, formerly Group Managing Director, will become Chief Executive Officer of the Club, effective from 1st February 2022.
“Ed Woodward will step down from his role as Executive Vice-Chairman, also effective from 1st February 2022.”
