2026: Primate Ayodele Warns of Tinubu–Dangote Rift, Security Threats, Electoral Crisis

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Saturday, December 20, 2025, released his much-anticipated prophecies for the year 2026, unveiling what he described as divine revelations concerning Nigeria, Africa and the global community.

The unveiling ceremony, which took place in the presence of several media practitioners, featured the release of a 146-page prophetic publication containing warnings and predictions for political leaders, government institutions, traditional rulers, corporate bodies and nations across the world.

According to the renowned cleric, the prophecies were compiled over several months through what he termed revelations from God.

Primate Ayodele explained that the annual prophetic book was not intended to instil fear but to serve as a guide for leaders and citizens to pray, prepare and take corrective actions where necessary.

He noted that many past prophecies had either come to pass or were unfolding, stressing the need for authorities to pay attention to spiritual warnings.

A significant portion of the 2026 prophecies focused on Nigeria’s political landscape, particularly the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

Primate Ayodele warned that some Northern elders would turn against Tinubu, advising the president to intensify political engagement in the South-East, North-Central, North-East and the core North

He claimed that some elder statesmen trusted by Tinubu would betray him, while former aides of the president might work for the opposition.

He further predicted that opposition parties would launch blackmail campaigns against the Tinubu government, adding that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar should prepare himself against alleged blackmail efforts targeted at him.

According to the prophet, the two leading political parties in Nigeria would engage in vote-buying and vote-stealing during future elections.

On anti-corruption efforts, Primate Ayodele prophesied that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) would expose several politicians, leading to a coordinated attempt by affected individuals to gang up against the EFCC chairman.

He also warned of changes in the banking sector, revealing that some banks and their directors would experience restructuring, while the Central Bank of Nigeria governor would face personal grief.

Security challenges featured prominently in the prophecies. Primate Ayodele foresaw disunity and betrayal within Nigeria’s security architecture, alongside an escalation in kidnapping and terrorism taking new dimensions.

He warned that APC vehicles and billboards would be attacked in parts of the North, while protests driven by hardship and dissatisfaction with government policies would erupt across the country.

The cleric also predicted attacks on convoys of public office holders, including ministers, governors, senators and members of the House of Representatives and state assemblies.

He cautioned that bullying, stoning and theft would become more rampant due to economic hardship.

In a striking revelation, Primate Ayodele predicted a rift between President Tinubu and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, describing it as a fight that could have political and economic implications.

He also said Tinubu would relieve some ministers of their duties in 2026, warning the president to pray against losing any of his aides.

The prophet advised President Tinubu against accepting traditional titles, warning that such actions, including similar titles taken by members of his family, could ruin his political chances.

He, however, described Tinubu’s tax reforms as good, though misunderstood by the public.

On electoral matters, Primate Ayodele predicted that election dates would be shifted behind schedule, while INEC officials would face attacks.

He urged the INEC chairman to pay attention to his health. He also revealed that some senators would clash with the Senate President, advising the latter to be cautious and health-conscious.

In terms of governance reforms, the prophecies suggested the creation of state police and the actualisation of new states in Nigeria

He also predicted that the Federal Government would clamp down on governors allegedly mismanaging direct local government allocations.

The education sector was not spared, as Primate Ayodele warned of crises in universities, including the kidnapping of vice-chancellors, professors and students.

He further predicted jailbreaks across Nigeria and cautioned that Nnamdi Kanu should watch his health closely.

On infrastructure and utilities, the prophet revealed that telecommunication tariffs would change, with 9mobile masts being attacked or set ablaze, MTN experiencing major network shutdowns, Glo facing government troubles and cable theft, and Airtel laying off workers.

He also predicted the emergence of new electricity distribution companies and the exposure of fraudulent firms in the power sector.

Primate Ayodele also touched on the oil and gas sector, advising Tinubu’s government to intervene in the BUA oil refinery, which he claimed could bring petrol prices down to ₦550 before the end of 2026.

He warned of gas explosions and widespread fire outbreaks, urging Nigerians to be vigilant.

On the international scene, the cleric predicted global instability, including conflicts involving Russia, NATO, the European Union and the United States.

He warned that NATO and the EU would fight Russia, while the U.S. would remove some world presidents and engage in conflicts across Africa, allegedly supporting the imposition of governments.

He also predicted political crises in the United Kingdom that would work against its Prime Minister.

Primate Ayodele warned that some African and Asian countries would produce nuclear weapons and urged prayers for at least 10 African presidents, including leaders of Cameroon, South Africa, Uganda, Mali and Gabon.

He also predicted that Nigeria’s relationship with France would bring undesirable consequences, warning of threats to national sovereignty.

The prophecies also extended to aviation, with warnings of military and commercial plane crashes globally and within Nigeria, including emergency landings and runway skids.

He urged prayers to avert the loss of prominent personalities in air disasters.

In sports and entertainment, Primate Ayodele predicted that Nigeria would lose a boxer and a footballer, while the secrets of some Nollywood actors would be exposed.

He also foretold the death of a prominent Nollywood star, a notable pastor and a popular musician, urging prayers for media practitioners to avoid untimely deaths.

The prophet concluded by urging Nigerians and leaders to take the prophecies seriously, emphasising prayer, caution and proactive governance as key responses to the revelations for 2026.
