Is Primate Ayodele’s Prophecy on Rivers Gov, Sim Fubara, Coming to Pass?

By Sondo Ebenezer

For nearly two years, the governor of Rivers State, Sim Fubara, has enjoyed victory in his political battle with his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, primarily over control of the House of Assembly and local government administration.

Fubara managed to secure a majority of lawmakers loyal to him in the House, while also ensuring that local government elections were held to replace council chairmen aligned with Wike.

While many political analysts and figures across the country praised Fubara’s maneuvering, Primate Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church repeatedly warned him to be cautious of Wike’s plans, stating that the ultimate goal was to remove him from office.

Primate Ayodele, in several videos and interviews, emphasized that while Fubara might be enjoying temporary victories, he should remain on high alert because Wike would not relent in his fight against him.

In one of his prophecies, Primate Ayodele warned:

“The Rivers State governor should be ready for a serious battle. His predecessor will not forgive him and will use his party against him.

“His problems have just begun, and he will face even more challenges. No matter what he does, he will not be appreciated.”

In another prophecy, he expressed concern that Fubara might face impeachment unless he took decisive action. He also predicted a scenario where two governors could emerge in Rivers State if Fubara failed to navigate the crisis effectively.

“Wike wants to bring Fubara down completely. My fear is that they will impeach Fubara unless he goes all out. Either he is impeached, or Rivers State will have two governors.

“The issues in the state will not end soon. They will conduct state congresses and other elections, but he will not have people on his side.”

Yesterday, Fubara’s streak of victories was abruptly overturned by landmark judgments from the Supreme Court.

The ruling reinstated the Assembly leadership loyal to former governor Nyesom Wike and nullified the local government election organized under Fubara’s administration.

This decision means that the current Assembly leadership will have to step aside for the reinstated lawmakers to take over.

With the political turmoil in Rivers State intensifying, will Primate Ayodele’s prophecy of Fubara’s impeachment come to pass? Only time will tell.
