Qualify For Nations Cup To Neutralise Hardship In Nigeria, Primate Ayodele Urges Super Eagles

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has urged the Nigerian Super Eagles ahead of their match with Libya today to make efforts to qualify for the Nations Cup.

The prophet, in a statement, recognised the hardship Nigerians are going through while explaining that the victory of the Super Eagles will have so much impact in neutralising hardship.

He revealed that he had gone on his knees to pray for the team, and if they were serious, the Super Eagles could defeat Libya by three goals to nil.

The prophet advised the NFF to start awarding players for their efforts, while calling on Nigerians to pray for the acting Super Eagles coach for luck to win against Libya.

“I have gone on my knees to pray for the Super Eagles because of football that unites us.

“With the situation of hardship in the country, we need something to neutralise it, and their victory can help us.

“If the Super Eagles are serious, they can beat Libya 3-0, and apart from this, I want to appeal to the NFF to start awarding our players, both local and international, that have served the country.

“Nigerians should pray for Eguaveon so that he will have luck to win.”

Furthermore, Primate Ayodele revealed that the current NFF president, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, will secure a second term in office while explaining that anyone who stands against him is joking.

“Alhaji Gusau’s second term is secured, he has done so well in his first term and deserves another term.

“Plans to stop his second term are dead on arrival. The country will qualify for the Nations Cup,” the clergyman stated.
