CHIEF BOLAJI AYORINDE, SAN |
A key factor that sets leadership apart is the capacity to effectively formulate, implement, and evaluate policies and programmes for the public good.
Even the ardent critics and detractors of the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, have adjudged him to have performed wonderfully well, and applauded him on the recent appointment of a legal luminary, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde, SAN, as the Chairman of the newly constituted State Advisory Council.
There is no doubt that the governor has transformed the Pace-Setter State in the past four years of his administration. Besides, the appointment of Chief Ayorinde is considered a reward for excellence, integrity, and honesty in line with the governor's belief of putting round pegs in round holes to achieve his vision for a prosperous Oyo State.
The overriding benchmark for the selection of members of the Advisory Council is integrity, honesty, character, and experience, which informed the choice of Chief Ayorinde as the Chairman of the Advisory Council.
Arguably, one of the foremost political titans in Oyo State today, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde, SAN, who doubled as the Special Counsel to the Governor of Oyo State, is from every logical perspective the best-primed person to chair the Advisory Council.
Other members of the Advisory Council include the former Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, Senator Hosea Agboola, Senator Gbenga Babalola, Oyo State SDP Governorship Candidate for the 2023 election, Barrister Michael Lana, Former AD Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Babatunde Oduyoye and Senator Kamarudeen Adedibu.
