President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was yesterday charged to consider implementing the electoral reforms of the Justice Uwais-led committee.
The charge came from the former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Dr Olisa Agbakoba.
The SAN through a statement issued by his Media Assistant, Niyi Odunmorayo, said: “The longest serving Chief Justice of Nigeria, Honourable Justice M. L Uwais has been blessed by God to reach the milestone Age of 87.
"President Tinubu’s special gift to our CJN is to implement the far-reaching electoral reforms of the Uwais Committee.
“I was honoured to serve on the Uwais Committee. Mr President, please implement the Uwais recommendations".
