Judgment debts: President Buhari seek Senate's approval for $556m, £98,526,013,N226bn

The upper legislative chamber of the National Assembly was today urged to approve a request to pay the judgment debt in the sum of $566,754,584.31, £98,526,012.00 and N226 Billion being judgment debt owed by the Federal Government through the issuance of promissory notes.

The request was made by President Muhammadu Buhari through a letter sent to the Senate for consideration.
