Adamawa Governorship Poll: INEC Announces Fintiri As Winner

Ahmadu Fintiri was today declared as the winner of the Adamawa State governorship election.

Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, through its Returning Officer, Muhammed Melee.

The incumbent governor emerged winner after polling 430,861 votes to defeat his major counterpart, Aisha Binani of All Progressives Congress, APC, who polled 398,788.
