Lagos Guber: 'We Are Voting Out Sanwo-Olu In Today's Election' – PDP, LP

The Lagos State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has gone into an alliance with the Labour Party, LP, to vote out the incumbent governor of the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in today's election.

This development was made public in a statement jointly signed by the PDP chairman in the state, Philip Olabode Aivoji, and his LP counterpart, Mrs Dayo Ekong, at a programme held in Ikeja.

Aivoji, while speaking at the programme, noted that the collaboration would go a long way in ensuring the state won’t be won by the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Aivoji further maintained that the development, which had the authorization of the two parties at the national levels, became imperative for Lagos to now have a new breath of life as the alliance was determined to win and rescue the state.

According to the PDP chieftain, the two parties agreed to work collaboratively towards electing the LP Governorship candidate, Mr Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour as the state governor while the parties would support one another in their areas of strength in the respective House of Assembly elections.
