The outbreak of cholera in 23 countries has been announced by the World Health Organisation (WHO), with a warning that 20 more countries sharing land borders with the affected countries are at risk.

The Cholera outbreak was made public on Friday by WHO Director-General, Dr Tedros Ghebreyesus, during the bloc’s online media conference.
