The Spokesperson of the Rivers Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko, today confirmed the arrest of a member of the House of Representatives and campaigner of Atiku Abubakar, Dr Chinyere Igwe allegedly caught with $500,000 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
It would be recalled that Igwe, who represents Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2, was apprehended during a stop-and-search operation along Aba Road.
According to Iringe-Koko, “A statement on it will be released soon”.
