New Naira Notes: CBN Boss, Godwin Emefiele, Appears Before Lower Legislative Chamber

As a result of the confusion caused by the redesign of some naira notes and the exchange of old naira notes with new ones, the Governor, Central Bank of Nigerian, CBN, Godwin Emefiele, on Tuesday, appeared before the lower legislative Chamber of the National Assembly.

The CBN boss appeared before the ad hoc committee set up by the House to investigate the crisis, which is chaired by Majority Leader, Alhassan Ado-Doguwa.
