Another journalist has died at the ongoing World Cup finals in Qatar. The development is coming 48 hours after the death of an American journalist.
Khalid al-Misslam, a Qatari photojournalist working for Al Kass TV, passed away last Sunday and the circumstances of his death are unclear as of press time.
In a tweet, the Qatar news outlet, Gulf Times, said: "Al-Misslam, a Qatari, died suddenly while covering the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
“We believe in Allah’s mercy and forgiveness for him, and send our deepest condolences to his family.”
