2023 Elections Under Threat, Says INEC Chairman

'The 2023 general elections are in danger if the incessant attacks on our offices and facilities continue unabated.'

The above position was made public by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Mahmood Yakubu.

Yakubu, who equally admitted that INEC could replace some destroyed essentials, insisted that there is a limit to which the attacks could stretch them. 

The INEC Chairman spoke during the commencement of an investigative hearing of the Ad-hoc Committee of the House of Representatives investigating the attacks on offices and the facilities of the Commission on Friday.
