'Lagos Government Clamping Down On Opposition Party's Billboards' – Investigation

Indications are high that the Lagos State Government (LASG), is clamping down on opposition party’s billboards across the state.

The development is coming as the 2023 general elections in Nigeria draws closer.

A source who does not wish to be mentioned disclosed to our correspondent on Tuesday that one of such billboards is the one located at the Iddo area of the State, which has been marked to come down.

The affected billboard, according to the source, carries the image of the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Funso Doherty.

According to the source, “The Lagos State Government is clamping down on the opposition party’s billboards.

“Is it that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is now afraid of this man and his party?

“They are not allowing our other boards to come out. They are working underground.”
