After meeting with King Charles III on Tuesday morning, Rishi Sunak has officially taken over as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
Sunak took over when he met the king in the palace’s 1844 room, where the King had invited him to form a government.
The Prime Minister arrived at the Palace around 10:15 am to meet the King, shortly after Liz Truss tendered her resignation letter to the King in the same Palace.
