Justice Ariwoola Takes Over As Substantive CJN

The oath of office was on Wednesday administered to Justice Olukayode Ariwoola as the substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria.

The oath was administered by President Muhammadu Buhari at a swearing-in ceremony which took place at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.

It would be recalled that Justice Ariwoola was appointed Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria on June 27, 2022, following the resignation of Justice Tanko Muhammad, on health grounds.
