The former governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano was on Thursday arrested by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Willie Obiano was arrested at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos at about 8.30 pm while on his way out of the country to Houston, Texas in the United States after handing over to his successor, Governor Charles Soludo.
It would be recalled that the former governor had been on the watch list of the anti-graft agency for months.
