A N2.9 billion fraud charge has been slammed against the former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha.
The 17 count charge was initiated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, Nigeria.
Charged alongside Rochas Okorocha were All Progressives Congress (APC) politician and five companies.
They were alleged to have conspired to steal N2.9 billion public coffers.
Other defendants in the case are Anyim Nyerere Chinenye, Naphtali International Limited, Perfect Finish Multi Projects Limited, Consolid Projects Consulting Limited, Pramif International Limited, and Legend World Concepts Limited.
