Buildings affected by fuel tanker explosion in Anambra

A yet to be known number of buildings were on Friday affected by the fuel tanker explosion that hit the Upper Iweka junction of Onitsha, the Anambra State commercial hub.

The tanker is suspected to be laden with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol.

Major Eze, the South-East Zonal Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), confirmed the explosion.
