The intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the future of marketing workflow is set to take center stage as the Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria (BJAN) unveils the theme and high-profile lineup for its 2025 Annual Conference.

Slated for November 28, 2025, at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, the conference is themed: ‘AI and Future of Marketing Workflow: Disruption or Opportunity.’

It promises to be a pivotal gathering for key stakeholders across Nigeria’s integrated marketing and communications (IMC) industry.

The esteemed event will be chaired by Mr Udeme Ufot, Group Chief Executive Officer of SO&U Limited, one of Nigeria’s foremost advertising agencies.

Under his guidance, the conference will provide a robust platform for industry professionals to deeply explore how AI is fundamentally transforming marketing strategies, advertising practices, and consumer engagement.

BJAN Chairman, Mr Daniel Obi, emphasised the urgency of the topic, stating: “AI is no longer a futuristic concept; it is a present reality reshaping industries and economies.

"This year’s conference will help stakeholders understand how to adapt, leverage opportunities, and navigate the ethical considerations of AI adoption.”

The conference is specifically designed to foster dialogue among professionals in public relations, brand management, advertising, and related sectors.

A lineup of speakers is scheduled to present, including Dr Cherry Eromosele (EVP, Group Marketing & Corporate Communications, Interswitch Group), Mr Folajimi Daodu (CEO, Vault Hill), Dr Lekan Fadolapo (Director-General, ARCON), and Bethel Obioma (Head, Corporate Communications, Sahara Group).

The event will also feature a high-impact panel discussion bringing together experts from technology, banking, advertising, and telecommunications.
