The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) is set to honour two of its brightest stars, Coach Daniel Ogunmodede and striker Yusuf Anas, at a ceremony in Abuja on Tuesday, September 2.
The event was previously delayed due to the duo's commitments with the CHAN Eagles team.
NPFL Chairman Otunba Gbenga Elegbeleye confirmed the new date, stating the awards are part of the board’s policy to encourage excellence.

The awards recognise remarkable achievements from the 2024/25 season.
Yusuf Anas of Nasarawa United claimed the top scorer prize with 17 goals, while Daniel Ogunmodede steered Remo Stars to their first-ever league title.
Both winners will receive a commemorative plaque and a cash prize of N1.5 million.
The NPFL, in partnership with GTI Asset Management and Trust Limited, continues to champion high-level performances within the league.
