Awujale: Primate Ayodele’s Warnings on Traditional Institutions Fulfilled in Newly Released Prophecy Book

The traditional institution in Nigeria has witnessed the loss of one of the most prominent kings in Yorubaland, the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, who passed away a few days ago and has since been buried.

His death coincided with that of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who was also a known ally of the traditional ruler.

Although the details surrounding the monarch’s death remain unclear, Primate Elijah Ayodele, in his newly released prophecy book titled ‘Warnings to the Nations’ (2025/2026 Edition), had issued a warning to the Awujale concerning an emergency related to his health and life.

The prophecy book, which contains revelations and warnings directed at presidents, governors, corporate organisations, and traditional rulers, among others, was released on Saturday, July 5, 2025.

In the latest edition, Primate Ayodele mentioned several traditional rulers and offered prophetic insights into what lies ahead for them.

His specific warning to the Awujale of Ijebuland can be found on page 415 of the book. It reads:

“AWUJALE OF IJEBULAND: The monarch must pray for divine protection more fervently. The spirit of God says the king must rebuke an emergency for his health and life.”

It would be recalled that Primate Ayodele also prophesied the emergence of a new Olubadan of Ibadanland in the same book. His warning concerning the Olubadan stool is located on page 144:

“OLUBADAN OF IBADAN: The spirit of God says the king needs prayers for long life. I foresee some things will change due to his reforms in Ibadanland.

“I foresee certain pronouncements from the palace of the king that will be described as very wrong. The royal lineage in Ibadanland must be prayerful, as I foresee the emergence of a new king soon.”
